Spirited Away

Just finished watching Spirited Away and all I can say is COMPLETELY PERFECT! ♥

Spirited Away (千と千尋の神隠し Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, "The Spiriting Away of Sen and Chihiro") is a 2001 Japanese animated fantasy-adventure film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film tells the story of Chihiro Ogino, a sullen ten-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighborhood, becomes trapped in an alternate reality that is inhabited by spirits and monsters. After her parents are transformed into pigs by the witch Yubaba, Chihiro takes a job working in Yubaba's bathhouse to find a way to free herself and her parents and escape back to the human world. It's simply amazing, breathtaking! My heart was beating so fast every moment, it always gives you the 'what will happen next??' or 'yes, you do it right, girl!' or 'aww! ♥'*yes, i experienced lots of 'aww ♥' moments*. Everything makes you emotional, indeed, and you can't stop to wonder what will happen next, no boring scene at all, all of them take your mind away and makes you just focus on it. Just on the screen.

I love Chihiro and Haku, they're so cute together! And I also love No-Face so bad, you know, the lonely male spirit who becomes obsessed with Chihiro after her kindness towards him, keeps following her and gives her gifts. *such a cute one, isn't it??* Yes, I love him. I don't know why. I just think he deserves it.

And for Joe Hisaishi's piece, One Summer's Day, it is a masterpiece! I love the song even before I watch the movie. ♥ *my sister recommended it to me*

Alright! That's all for this movie~

I'm going to bake something after this and hope it turns out well! See you soon, guys~

Here's a really short post!

I just can't help myself to post this as it always gives me the OMG-WHAT-A-BEAUTIFUL-SONG feeling! xD

FYI, 'Please Be Careful With My Heart' is Jose Mari Chan's single. You have to check his songs, nice ones indeed! ;)

And here's by Christian Bautista and Sarah Geronimo...

Verse:
If you love me like you tell me
Please be careful with my heart
You can take it just don’t break it
Or my world will fall apart

Chorus:
You are my first romance
And I’m willing to take a chance
That ’till life is through
I’ll still be loving you

I will be true to you
Just a promise from you will do
From the very start
Please be careful with my heart

Verse II:
I love you and you know I do
There’ll be no one else for me
Promise I’ll be always true
For the world and all to see

Love has heard some lies softly spoken
And I have had my heart badly broken
I’ve been burned and I’ve been hurt before

Verse III:
So I know just how you feel
Trust my love is real for you
I’ll be gentle with your heart
I’ll caress it like the morning dew

I’ll be right beside you forever
I won’t let our world fall apart
From the very start
I’ll be careful with your heart

Chorus II:
You are my first (and you are my last) romance
And I’m willing to take a chance
(I’ve learned from the past)
That ’till life is through
I’ll still be loving you

I will be true (I will be true) to you
Just a promise from you will do (only to you)
From the very start (from the very start)
From the very start (from the very start)
From the very start
Please be careful with (I’ll be careful with) my heart (your heart)

Don't you think it's a really nice song for Valentine's Day?

With love,

I've been listening to this song lately and I simply love it!

Sometimes When We Touch is a 1977 ballad written by Dan Hill (lyrics) and Barry Mann (music) on the album Longer Fuse, but was also released as a single in 1978. It was Hill's biggest hit, peaking at #3 on the United States Billboard Hot 100. (wiki)

I love Olivia Ong's version because she has a super sweet voice, but Dan Hill sings it wholeheartedly! So, I just cant choose...

Sometimes When We Touch

You ask me if I love you
And I choke on my reply
I'd rather hurt you honestly
Than mislead you with a lie
And who am I to judge you
On what you say or do?
I'm only just beginning to see the real you

And sometimes when we touch
The honestys too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I want to hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

Romance and all its strategy
Leaves me battling with my pride
But through all the insecurity
Some tenderness survives
Im just another writer
Still trapped within my truth
A hesitant prize fighter
Still trapped within my youth

And sometimes when we touch
The honestys too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I want to hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

At times Id like to break you
And drive you to your knees
At times Id like to break through
And hold you endlessly
At times I understand you
And I know how hard you try
I watched while love commands you
And Ive watched love pass you by
At times I think were drifters
Still searching for a friend
A brother or a sister
But then the passion flares again

And sometimes when we touch
The honestys too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I want to hold ya till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides
Subsides

p.s. frankly, i don't really understand the meaning of the lyric...

This song was composed by Josef Schnabel and some people also call it Transeamus usque Bethlehem. It's a beautiful latin song and reminds me about the moment my friend and I played this song on violin for our high school's christmas event. Oh, I wish I can play this song again for another event! xD

Ok, this will be a really short post as I have to plan something important for tomorrow with my friends and some christmas projects! tee-hee ;)

So yea, my sister and I sing this song all the time and it is just a super sweet song, especially the one by Natalie Cole and David Foster~ ♥

Natalie Cole David Foster - My Grown-Up Christmas List (1990)

Do you remember me
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you
With childhood fantasies

Well, I'm all grown up now
Can you still help somehow
I'm not a child
But my heart still can dream

So here's my lifelong wish
My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself
But for a world in need

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win

And love would never end
This is my grown-up
Christmas list
What is this illusion called

The innocence of youth
Maybe only in their blind belief
Can we ever find the truth
There'd be no more lives torn apart

And wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end

This is my grown-up Christmas list
This is my only lifelong wish
This is my grown-up Christmas list
Hoo---, hoo--

I'm HOME! OMG, I'm just so happy that I can meet my family and gather with them again! There's no better place than home, isn't it? ;)

As Christmas Day is coming, from today onwards 'The Song of The Day' will be my favourite christmas songs! *yipee*

Love is Christmas by Sara Bareilles

I don’t care if the house is packed,
Or the strings of light are broken.

I don’t care if the gifts are wrapped,
Or if there’s nothing here to open.

Love is not a toy, and no paper will conceal it.
Love is simply joy that I’m home.

I don’t care if the carpet is stained;
we have food upon the table.

I don’t care if it’s gonna rain,
or our room is warm and stable.

Love is who we are, and no season can contain it.

Love would never fall for that.

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

Why so scared that you’ll mess it up?
Imperfection keeps you haunted.

All you need is your best my love,
that’s all anyone ever wanted.

Love is how we do, let no judgement over- rule it.
Love I look to you, and I sing.

Let love lead us, love is Christmas. Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

My favourite part in this lyric is 'Love is simply joy that I’m home', it's so true and perfect for my condition. Hahahaha...

thx to gabby for recommend this song

A beautiful song from The Phantom of the Opera

I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to watch this musical!!!!!

The Phantom of the Opera is a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the French novel Le Fantôme de l'Opéra by Gaston Leroux. The central plot revolves around a beautiful soprano, Christine Daaé, who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius. The Phantom of the Opera opened in the West End in 1986, celebrating its 25th anniversary in October 2011. It won the 1986 Olivier Award and the 1988 Tony Award for Best Musical, and Michael Crawford (in the title role) won the 1986 Olivier and 1988 Tony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Musical. It is the longest-running Broadway show by a wide margin, the second longest-running West End musical, and the third longest-running West End show overall. (wiki)

Seriously, I have the-phantom-of-the-opera fever once I downloaded this song. Yes yes, I know I'm pretty late, I always like that, but really I did not know about this movie until I found the song! Surprisingly, two days ago one of my friend mentioned something about this musical, then I asked him curiously, "You watched that??" and he answered with happy smile, "Yes!". That makes my fever worser... The song is soo great *and it's sarah brightman!*, oh I love it so much~

Watch the music video here :
All I Ask of You

and don't forget to watch the trailer too~ ;)

taken from youtube

By the way I can't find the movie anywhere on web... Maybe I should buy one when I go back to my hometown...
